Members
Manage account access in Admin → Members. Invite people with an existing role, change a member’s role, revoke access, or transfer ownership.
Review the Member List
The owner appears in a separate card above the Members table and does not appear as a member row. The table shows Member, Role, Status, Invited by, and Invited.
- Pending: an invitation was created but has not been accepted.
- Active: the member has access to the account.
- Revoked: access was removed; the membership stays in the list for account history.
Use Search... to find a member by name or email. Select Member, Status, Invited by, or Invited to change the order; Role is not sortable. Use Toggle columns to show or hide columns. Use Rows and the previous or next page controls for longer lists.
Invite a Member
Invite someone with a built-in or custom role. The page shows seat usage, and Invite Member is unavailable when your plan has no seats left. A sent invitation stays Pending until accepted.
- Select Invite Member.
- Enter the person’s address in Email.
- Select a role in Role.
- Select Send invitation.
Accept an Invitation
Use the invitation link sent to the invited address. The invitation preview shows the account, role, and invited email before acceptance.
- Open the invitation link.
- If prompted, select Sign in or Create an account and use the invited email address.
- Confirm the account and role, then select Accept invitation.
The invitation changes from Pending to Active. Drip Drop then loads and selects the joined account.
Select the Account to Manage
If you belong to more than one account, confirm the selected account before opening Admin → Members. The account switcher shows the current account name and the accounts available to you.
- Select the current account name in the dashboard sidebar.
- Select the account you want to manage.
After you switch accounts, open Admin → Members again. Member rows, roles, invitations, and access actions are scoped to the selected account.
Understand Owners, Roles, and Access
The account owner is separate from membership roles and does not appear as a member row. Every other person uses a membership role.
The built-in roles are Admin and View Only. Custom roles let you choose permissions by area.
Create a Custom Role
- Select New Role.
- Enter a Name.
- Under Permissions, choose access by area. Use Select all or Clear to update the full permission set.
- Select Save.
Edit or Delete a Custom Role
- Select Edit to change a custom role’s name or permissions.
- Select Delete to remove a custom role. If members, invitations, or API keys use it, select a replacement role before deleting it.
A role controls which areas and actions appear available to a member. View Only provides read access where granted; other permissions can allow creating, editing, or deleting in selected areas. You need the relevant access to see or use member-management controls.
Change a Member’s Role
Changing a role changes the member’s available navigation and actions. Review the new role before saving.
- In the member row, select Edit.
- In the role picker, select the existing role to assign.
- Select Save.
Revoke Access and Re-invite a Member
Revoking access removes the member’s account access immediately. Their membership history remains.
- In the member row, select Delete.
- Review the Revoke Access message, then select Revoke.
The member remains in the table with Revoked status. To invite that person again, select Invite Member, enter the same email address, choose a role, and select Send invitation. This creates a new Pending invitation.
Transfer Account Ownership
Transfer Ownership is separate from changing a role. Only the current account owner can start it. After the transfer, the previous owner becomes an Admin. Only the new owner can initiate another ownership transfer.
- In the owner card, select Transfer Ownership.
- Under New owner, select an active member.
- Select I understand this cannot be undone without the new owner.
- Select Transfer Ownership.
The new owner must already be an active member. A pending invite cannot receive ownership. The transfer removes the new owner’s membership row, changes the account owner, and gives the previous owner an Admin membership.
Troubleshooting
Members or a member action is unavailable
- Confirm that the correct account is selected.
- If Members is unavailable, or an action is missing, ask the account owner or an administrator who manages account access to review your role.
The members list does not load
- Select Try Again.
- Confirm that the correct account is selected, then reload the dashboard if the list still does not appear.
An invitation cannot be accepted
- Open the latest invitation link.
- Sign in or create an account with the invited email address.
- If you are signed in with another email address, sign out and sign in with the invited address.
- If the invitation was accepted but the account did not load, select Retry loading account. You can also select Go to dashboard and choose the account from the account switcher.
A revoked member still appears
- This is expected. Revocation removes access but keeps the membership record.
- Use Invite Member to send a new invitation to the same address.
Ownership transfer cannot be completed
- Only the current account owner can start a transfer.
- Select an active member. Pending invitations are not available as new owners.
